    Amorim

He seems like a decent bloke but I think the honesty and apologies are wearing a bit thin now. He was on the mic after the game in the stadium apologizing for the season again.
You can only do that so often in my book and it seems to me that hes doing it to play the victim and deflect blame whether to the hobo or Glaziers or the players.
His players are underperforming spectacularly and I dont see a lot of difference between him and Ange (mate) in that he stubbornly sticks to s tactic which isnt generating good performances or results. Except that Ange won a trophy.

I was concerned when they got him, especially as he was apparently being lined up by Man City in case Pep left.

His insistence on playing a system that the players have to fit into as opposed to working with the players he has and adapting his system accordingly is pig-headed at best. You would say it was arrogant but he definitely doesn't strike me as that type-he actually comes across well, especially with his honesty.

I reckon it's beginning to wear a bit thin by now, though.

West Ham interviewed Amorim to replace Lopetegui, they're take away was 'He lacks big club/big player experience.'

What I heard on the Middle East grapevine over here was that, Pep's deal was pretty much done.

Hugo Vianna mentioned Amorim when asked who would be a decent replacement but would need a hell of a lot of support and investment to reshape the team to play his style, just in case Pep changed his mind.

The City PR team leaked it, knowing that Pep was signing. Also, knowing that the filth were preparing to ditch Ten Pence.
The City lot knew Barrada would jump on it straight away, knowing the quality of the City network and analysis. Also City knew the filth's squad had no chance of playing his style and lurching from the Ten Pence style (if he had one) to Amorim's rigid 3-4-3 would destroy their local rival for years to come.

It was a masterpiece of misinformation and spin from City.

The Incompetent headless chickens at the swamp bought it hook line and sinker.
