Well, we're off again. and most of us clearly haven't done any homework over the summer. That can't be said of Hopey (xExE) and Ozwhites (xxEE) who, like everyone else, thought Liverpool would stroll the Community Shield, but were much more accurate in the lower division games, scoring twelve points each. Between them, they even got three exact scorelines! Who needs a few weeks to warm up, eh?

Alf (xExO), Lufcjohn88 (xExO) and Tich1 (xOOO) scored nine points, with Tich arguably the pick of the weekend tipsters, scoring points in three of the four fixtures. That's the way you do it!

The table is pretty much self-explanatory given that this is the first week. Hopey and Ozwhites share the top spot, with Alf, Lufcjohn88 and Tichi three points behind.

Hopefully, a few more of the regulars will show their faces again over the next few weeks.

There was one (unexpected!) draw, so Johnny_Default begins the season on three points. There are no Strike points on offer in the first week.

The average active weekly score was 4.5.
