    Better

    It might keep us up, it might not, we'll see, but at least the signings so far in this window are giving us a chance. We are putting together a squad that seems expressly designed for survival in the PL, which is infinitely better than that bizarre pantomime of a window two years ago under VK, when we just seemed to be signing players who might, or might not, progress enough to sell on at a profit in a couple of years time, with no thought whatsoever given to our survival chances in the League.

    All credit to whoever has insisted on a common sense approach this time, who I assume is Scott Parker, I wish him every success.
