5-0 defeat to the team bottom of league one, with a full strength team out.
Personally i'm glad we are out, but it's wether this result affects confidence now!

Absolutely agree. Not sure why I kept watching on for the 90 minutes but it was painful viewing.
I am glad we are out of this silly cup as I dont really want us playing more games risking injuries or fatigue but that was an embarrassing way to exit.
Weve had 3 good results in the league recently but in that same time, weve had 2 very, very poor performances in this cup. Even though we have picked fairly strong sides for both games, I can only assume the hunger and desire hasnt been there.
I guess luckily for us the games will come thick and fast now until the new year. Contrary to what I said above about playing more games in cups, hopefully Saturday we can actually turn up to try and get through to the third round.
We could do with getting to the 3rd round for financial reasons, it would hopefully strengthen Conors hand in January!
I can see Vickers and Rooney returning to their clubs and Russell moving on? I hope Nwakali finds a new home as well.
The sad thing is that it was almost predictable and yet by the same token we are likely to bounce back on saturday and come back with a positive result at Posh, incidentally I might be wrong but didn"t the same thing happen last season at Bradford who of course were in division 2 at the time ? Who knows , I just feel sorry for the die hards who have paid out good money to be treated like this, it boils my P.
