    Mirassol

Mirassol have just secured 4th place in the Brazilian league and thus secured an automatic place in next seasons Copa Libertadores.
Mira-who I hear you ask? Well, exactly. Its a bit like Plymouth Argyle being promoted to the Premier League and finishing 4th in their first season.
It just goes to show what can happen when the stars align in football - something that, unfortunately, is happening at Sunlun too.

A real Cinderella story. They were playing in front of a couple of hundred people.

    Don't you just love it!

I think your Mackems comment is a bit over blown. The puddle drinkers out spent NUFC during the Ashley era. They could hardly be considered a minnow. They're an under achiever, the epitome of losers.

The crack of sunlight shining down of the Wearsider's at the moment will of course fade to black in short order.

Their luck will run out and Derby will be a nice reminder to those down the road that they're no longer in the Kansas of the Championship.

Sunlun won the play offs finishing way back from the automatic spots and just spending doesnt guarantee success as has been proven time after time. Things have clicked for them but, I agree, I dont think itll last eventhough they wont be relegated which is deeply upsetting !!

Well losing 7 players for AFCON is gona hurt them.

All of them are first players and starters.

Much as it pains me to say it, the SMBs have built a good team.
