Of the 36 sides, 6 were English. 5 of those finished in the top 8. The other team, the Toon finished 12th. What's the betting none of them win it?

I even preferred it as straight knock out like it was in the days when we were in it. theyve been playing for half the season so far andeffectively until yesterday noone had been knocked out Ialthough some mathematically sure not to progress, but they were still playing matches)

Since it has been on pay TV I've not taken any notice of it to be fair. Basically a Euro league which is fine, but calling it champions league is utter rubbish.

I take great delight in only watching Dutch teams in Europe. Ziggo have the rights to all 3 Euro Leagues but there's also a Law saying they have to make all games involving Dutch sides freely available. Which they do via a stream which I then cast to my TV.
