Hoodwinked By A Young Millers Supporter

I got hoodwinked by a young Millers supporter on new years day.

During the season when going in the Angel pub in Rotherham, before the game & after,
I have sometimes taken pork on breadcakes or sausage rolls for mates.
During the season this young lad who goes to home & away games with his dad helped
himself to anything I had on offer.
When the Millers played Huddersfield Town at home, young lad asked if I had brought
out in sandwiches etc.
I said no, but I would fetch something into the pub on new years day, he said it was his
birthday on new years day, so I thought I'll sort something out.
I walks in Angel pub New Years day, a bag of sausage rolls for mates, to which I did a
bag of items for young lad, so I put a bag of crisps, a twix, some mini-cheddars in a
bag alongside a small bag of sausage rolls for him.
I said happy birthday to him, gave him the birthday bags, mates said , how did you
know it was his birthday, with one old regular giving young lad a 5 pound note for hs
birthday.
After about 10 minutes, young lads dad said, its not his birthday until May.
I said how old are you, he said 7 years of age, everyone around the table was quite
amused.
I told his dad, young will be a right spiv, when he gets older.
I got done, hook,line & sinker.
