That Wakefield Trinity owner Matt Ellis is interested in buying the club , I don't know if anyone on here has seen these rumours posted on a major social media site .
I'm not in the know but whilst Matt is a Barnsley fan and a Staincross lad the interviews I've watched since he took over at Trinity indicate that he fell out of love with football 20 years ago because of the way the game was going and it's highly unlikely he'd be interested now .
He's enough on his hands as it is with running DIY K itchins and Wakefield Trinity , the other thing is that whilst Matt is a very wealthy man he's not someone likely to want to throw millions of pounds down the drain on a league one club without a hope of getting a single penny back .
He will get his money back minimum at Trinity should he sell it on sometime in the future because it will be competing at the highest level for the trophies on offer and have Trinity in the top 4 biggest clubs in Rugby League .
It's virtually impossible to do that at Oakwell in football terms .
Matt's whole life is his business and Wakefield Trinity and the rumour is about as likely as De Gevigney getting called up to the French World Cup squad in the summer .
