    Relegation

Would anybody take us losing to West Ham. If Spurs were guaranteed to go down.
Spurs have Chelsea and Everton to play, while West Ham have us and Fulham

I could never take us losing any game.

However, to see Spuds go down. . . it would push me close.

I just said on another thread that I would like us to finish off the season with a few wins... but if we can help it, I'd do anything to see Spurs go down!

I must be cruel. But I'd love to see it.

Normally would love to see west ham go down but not this season Spurs going down would be hilarious, Can see west ham beating us they will be up for it massively and the way we have been playing lately and if howe again starts Murphy and Burn etc we might as well hand over the 3 points to them.

But equally we always seem to pull sumit out of the hat against Hammers.

    So who knows.

    Tricky one.

Put it this way-I never want us actively to lose but, if we do...I'd get over it pretty quickly.

Ah - been thinking about thuis one for quite a while.
If we were safely in 4th place & getting CL next season, then I'd be very happy indeed for it to be rare slip-up!
At the moment, I don't think we can afford a loss. We need to have a huge reset for next season. I think we're going to have a very changed side, so a ***** pre-season to get things moving in the right direction.
But I think that the mental approach needs to start now. I think Eddie needs to end the season on a high, with a team that seems to be pulling together.
Even if his job is safe for the moment, Eddie must need some relief from the huge mental pressure he's undoubtedly been under.

So, no. To misquote someone, "I would love it" if Spurs went down. But I think we need a solid performance and a win.

Unfortunately I do not think our result against West Ham will make a difference, I just cannot see Spurs going down now 😭

Aye, unfortunately they've picked up some points since de Zerbi came in.
