Game: Old-boys network of shyte English managers

You may mention one per post.

    I’ll start.

    Steve Bruce.

PS. Thanks to Zip for inspiring the title on another thread; I love it!

Steve McClaren, but I'd love to add a good few more as there are so many contenders.

Fat Sham. There’s also a willing bunch of ‘reserves’ on the bench doing punditry who are aware that SDFC is their best chance of managing in the PL, hence the constant. ridiculous defense of Fatboy and the way he runs the club.

disagree there Mon Amigo, did a decent job at Everton with limited resources, yes he failed at Manure ( stars and all that)but with the smallest cadre in the Prem we are punching pretty high under him, plus our owners are as bad as yours!!

    Aye....

....agree he did well at Everton and Preston SE to a degree. Every one of these old boys has had their time in the sun that gets them started on the old boys Merry go Round to start with but it goes down hill from there.

But noone can deny that he bombed at Man U, Sunderland and Real Sociedad - no arguement there.however he has surprised at the Hammers, I admit - maybe thats his level, working at a budget punching above his weight - time will tell. Maybe for now I will move Moyes into the waiting room of the old boy network cnt clinic.

I'll maybe add Pulis in his stead.
