    John Marquis

I think he's the type of player we should be looking at for next season.
He's 26, works hard, pesters defenders to death and has a decent goal scoring record.
I wonder if Donny would be tempted with an offer around £500k?

Scored a great goal in front of the North stand, works tirelessly but does he have the quality?

Not sure whether he has the quality gm_gm but he certainly has the type of work ethic that Warney likes.
    I wonder if he's a decent human being? 😊

God forbid mate , happy enough with Moore and Bradshaw up top next season in all fairness .

You can do better than Marquis in my opinion .

I can't see us spending much more than £500k on a player so we're not going to get top class Championship quality for that.
Be realistic guys, we'll be fishing in a different pond to most of our opponents.

@ animallittle3, I will have you a friendly bet for bragging rights.
I say John Marquis will score more than Tom Bradshaw next season.
If either player is injured long term the bet is void.

@ mellowmiller, the reason not too many have mentioned names is because there are few players that have been released are actually worth signing.
Jason Lowe yes, Luke Hyam possibly, Watford & Stoke have let some good youngsters leave and that's about it.
Ferguson at Donny would probably tell us to go do one at 500k, since we've moved up to the Championship prices seem to be over inflated.
John Marquis is worth looking at for a permanent signing, Omar Bogle for a loan deal.

Big black lad up front that some people crave for.

He was a real pain to our CB especially at their ground. Have to agree with animal though. We can do better
