Passport Photos

My passport expires next April.

Too bloody close to their stupid Brexit carry on for my liking, no way am I risking having a dark blue passport, so it was always my intention to change it early.

Anyway, last week I applied online (it's the best time of year for me as I am grounded until the end of the school holidays anyway)

Sensible lad that I am I waited until

1/ I had been in the pub watching football and had a minimum of 6 pints inside me.

2/ It was hot (red in the face)

3/ I'd just listened to s'hite from Teresa May (even redder in the face)

So, wearing my dressing gown, I decide to take my own photo with my phone.

10 years, 10 BLOODY YEARS I'm going to have to put up with folk laughing at this photo.

In years to come, some ancestor is going to find the old passport of their great great granda and think "bloody hell"

I wouldn't let me travel with a photo like that.

Still, my passport will have European Union on it, which is the main thing.

I just got my visa app for Angola refused by immigration on the photos. Funnily enough its the same photos that are on my last years visa which was processed nae bother

I also applied for a new passport - yesterday. Being overseas it's a slightly more arduous process and i had to go into the post office to get the photo's witnessed etc. I did things right (and sober) decided to shower, shave and put on a clean shirt. Unfortunately either the blade was blunt or i have some rampant impetigo because i look like a 50something meth head

The shirt makes all the difference.

Mrs Donsdaft ( known in the past as passport face) after rolling around in stitches could only say that my Ma would have killed me for wearing my dressing gown.

It's hardly the focal point of the bloody photo.

Driving licence renewed recently, passport (MAROON!!!!) just before that. Bus pass when I smashed the sage barrier last year.

Simple procedure, but the scary thing (apart from the photie) is that they all use the same image.

For christ sake, dinna tell me that they will use the same photo on my bus pass ( if I ever get there)


Recently had to renew my driving license, old passport photo now I think of it.

Had to use black insulating tape to cover up the prominent hun flag on it.

Aye, that's a weird een.
I had to renew my DL pic and they did the link thing to me passport.
Thin is, at the time of renewal my passport was 8 or 9 year old so by the time my DL is up it'll be near 20 year old.

Best one I saw, was my mate from Torphins who was right into Iron Maiden. Had this massive poodle rock thing going on in his passport photo & went completely bald not long after

I renewed mine recently - old school through the post - cost £6 for the photos though.

More for ID purposes than travelling at the moment.
