    O/T:- The other Notts [Cricket]

I suppose waking up to a back lawn covered in snow this morning can only mean one thing - the cricket season starts tomorrow! For anyone interested, there will be free live coverage on the Trent Bridge website from 11am. Even though the league format is different due to Covid, a home game against Durham should provide the players with an ideal opportunity to show they can actually play cricket when a red ball is used rather than just the one day stuff.

I fancy Notts to get a win in the four day game this season. Hopefully against Durham this week.

So far it looks like more of the same. We get into good positions, then bottle it.

Hopefully the weather will let us sneak an undeserved draw tomorrow.

Yep whilst we carry on with Mullaney who is simply not good enough to play let alone captain.

This rubbish will continue whilst Newell is still about.

Delighted to see that Mullaney’s 69 contributed to Notts getting a draw.

Looking at the way we performed last year, a draw isn't a bad result. Last season we would have capitulated on the final day, at least we battled to a draw this time. Not quite sure how the points work in this format, but on the glass half-full side we are joint top of the table, on the glass half-empty side we are only two points from the bottom!

Newell is the real problem here but, as we all know, he's bulletproof.

    Spot On!

His girlfriend also seems to be bulletproof too.

Anyone else notice that Durhams top scorer yesterday played for Plumtree.

About time the pub landlords were released too & Hales.

Yes, going very well so far. Two ducks from our top four in the first innings and two of our bowlers are already injured!
Today will show us if they’ve got any bottle or not!
