Burnley v Sunderland (EFL Cup 2nd Round)

Please, not a banana skin of Sunderland proportions

No confidence Alto? We are tracking far better than last season. I believe just by our game style that things are improving (Dwight started it, Jay warming to it) I think Burnley FC should just go as hard as we can in this competition, just to put something in the cabinet!

If we do have a cabinet, we lost the key to it years ago, along with the key to the Dry Powder store.

You don't need a Cabinet for tat like that BT, just plonk it on the sideboard with the whisky and sherry bottles.

Maybe I have missed something Oz, but how is JayRod warming to it ? He's come on a few times as a sub and done nothing out of the ordinary.

It's OZ style optimism Alto, the daft beggars even thought they'd won the third Test!

    How's this for a starting X1?
Hart, Bardsley, Gibson, Long, Taylor, Brady, Hendrick, Drinkwater, Lennon, Jay Rod and Vydra.

I wouldn't be surprised and it would certainly be interesting.

Big choice to make --drive a 300 mile round trip and pay £10 to watch the Clarets play against a League One team in a Competition which we won't win anyway or go and watch Newcastle play Leicester in the same competition with entrance being £6 and I can travel the 36 mile round trip on the bus for free and have a drink or two.
Choice number 2 wins which means that there is still petrol in the tank for Saturday against Liverpool at a game that will only have cost around £12.50 for entrance.
