    New Software.

I'v just read an interesting thread on the Barnsley Board. They are saying that because of the new software a ban on one site automatically means a ban on all sites and recommend caution when you post on other forums. It hardly seems fair if you say get banned on the Forest board you are automatically banned on your own board. Please discuss.

So how come you can post on here Awkward as youve been banned on NFFC board? Or are all bans extinguished by the software change?

I understand that the new software changes can't ban on just one forum it goes the whole hog and bans you everywhere. Obviously the situation you refer is history and water under the bridge. To make your dreams come true they would have to reinstate me on the Forest board, entice me somehow to post and then ban me again. No doubt that is something Tricky will be working on.

You can post on the Forest board Awk, hence why I can here.

So this is intetesting....if an NFFC board mod reinstates your pre existing ban there, it will take you out everywhere else too.

Wonder what "HQ" think of this dilemma. It both empowers moderators with a spiteful mindset or personal agenda yet emasculates those with a tinge of conscience....

I don't think that would be a good idea. Tricky would immediately ban me and that would put paid to my existence on here and everywhere else . However thanks for pointing the changed situation. That's an option I could well use if things change on the Forest Board.

Just a reminder Es***, careful what you say on this board. If you were to be banned on here again, you would be automatically banned on the Forest board which would in it's present state close down the board. Having said that, I don't think that will happen.Their Mods are a better bunch, although one or two of the posters will always take exception to your presence whatever you say.

So you can now post on the Forest board again?
