That's why you're not England team manager. The opposition would expect our main striker to be in the box - but Roy outthought them
He also told Sterling to run at their defence - he just didn't tell him what to do once he'd arrived.
He obviously didn't tell Rooney anything 'cos it's anybody's guess what he was supposedly doing.
Not good, Roy. Too many easy qualifying games, nothing learned.
