    Peter Crouch

I've just been catching up on all things Wolves and one of the rumours doing the rounds today is Peter Crouch being linked to the club. He's experienced and played at the highest level for a number of years.

I know he is Eve, but say it's for one season, it could prove to be a shrewd signing, he offers a different type of threat than most.

Yeah maybe if he still has it in him to be able to put himself about at this level, over such a long season. I thought we'd just bought our Target man.

I'd rather Wolves had a few more, injuries can kick in at any time, look how we ended up after the loss of Dicko though injury and the sale of Afobe last season

I'd have him for a season.

Wonder what his missus will think about shopping in The Mander Centre

I think she'll prefer it to the s**thole that is Hanley!

However, I'm not sure this rumour is true.

Horses for courses- yeah he'd be on decent wages but a small transfer fee- IF he got us into the Prem then more dosh to spend on a replacement next season. Not sure if it's really a possibility but he'd be a good addition to what is actually beginning to look like a squad.

For one season? A no brainer really. A decent back up striker, at championship level anyway, and someone who will offer something completely different when he comes on. I hope it works out.

So do I as he has the knack of being in the right place in the box at the right time as he proved with England and he has the ability of not just scoring with his head.
