    Transfer rumours round up

It is 30 August after all, so may as well open a thread on the subject.

Hendrick deal should be finalised today, paying for Vydra and some pocket change (well enough change to have bought 15 Colin Todds back in the day! or one modest league 2 player today)

Looks like Kodija signing for Villa for 15 m but we still have a hand in the game. Not sure he would represent value for money at that price being wrong side of 27 as well. Price being ramped up by 3 teams chasing: time to bail out or get a good net price dangling Johnny Russell as bait.

So if that is a dead avenue, and Nakhi Wells has gone quiet sitting top of the table, it looks like Wolves or Fulham could miss out on Chris Martin. Not sure how I feel about this, as his form has dropped dramatically (whether due to him or the lack of service is s a moot point, maybe a bit of both) and he doesnt seem to fit new management style. We shall see.

All a lot of juggling it seems - where does anyone think the dice will fall?

oh yes, I forgot one other that I had heard - a winger called Burke coming in on season long loan from some German Club. Nothing else known but young, Scottish and allegedly **** hot.

On the other hand, getting Tom Huddlestone back as part of a player + cash deal with Hull for Jeff might not be a bad thing: Im sure he could play a Thorne role and take the "passing the ball out of defence" (sorry sideways to each other) pressure off Keokell.

Guardian reports that Kodija seen at Moor Farm earlier today

Same article also suggests Jordon Mutch as a target

Hasn't Grabban got 'history' with Johnson? Last time we were linked someone said they'd never play together.

ramAgram. Your right Grabban has history with Johnson but he has history with a lot of people Roger I'm not sure we could get Huddleston but I would love Meyler from Hull just the type of midfielder we need

They have just signed Ryan Mason which suggests they may have a few spare in midfield - or it may mean they arent going to buy Jeff!
