    Open letter to Mr Stewart

    Dear Mr Stewart,

I have cancelled my direct debit. I will attend the next match as a "pay on the day customer" but I'm afraid that the actions and words from the club over the past few months have eroded my financial commitment. I will review my attendance based on the quality of entertainment I see on a week by week basis.

Premiere league ambitions backed by division two funding. Premiere league ambitions underpinned by non-league management and executive leadership.

And a final word, when you sack Mr Stubbs please think hard about who made the appointment and whether you backed him with sufficient funds to match your stated ambitions (or even survival in the Championship).

    Donald

You're not the only one mate. When all is said and done, it was TS decision to bring in Stubbs. He is ultimately accountable wether the offers of funds be true or not.

He needs to wake up and smell the cornflakes, get some help from someone who actually knows what they are doing and stop this love in with everything Scotland. It's simply not good enough and I have a sneaky feeling that a shed loads may be considering cancelling direct debits.

What a shower of $hit this club has become.

    Edit* awaits usual abuse

Cancelling your direct debit wont have that much of an impact on the club I wouldn't think tbh.

Haven't 4 payments already come out. If so you'll have paid about £45 for each game you've seen if full paying customers.

Obviously not getting the full seasons worth of payments will change what they thought they would be getting over the whole season. Looking at what we've laid on players this may not matter either.

One thing I will say is cancelling your season ticket direct debit will affect you getting tickets for games in your names and you will never be able to have the direct debit option again. A mate of mine who cancelled his direct debit could not purchase tickets for the Villa game for that very reason.

That said its not surprising people are doing it, they will be gutted by what's been happening and yesterday will be the final straw.

Let's all take a deep breath.

We need Zil to take our minds off current Millers affairs with one of his inane 1960s Northern Soul quizzes

Yes I realise it won't have an impact in that respect or that I won't get DD in the future but it's more a point of principal. Having listened to Stewart on the radio earlier I feel even more comfortable with my decision. The man has either lost it or is having the wool pulled over his eyes by the "man of few words". I'm done with my committee to the club. I will base my attendance on whether truthful and realistic sounds come from the Chairman's mouth.

It's principle..not principal..which as an example would be a headmaster.

Anyway...do you yearn for DVS and League 2? Are you missing it? The wonderful nights freezing your nuts off watching the Millers v Barnet 50 yards away from the pitch in November. Those were the days eh.

    Stay away...no-one cares.

So you reckon that Rotherham will be "no longer in the League" I need to wake up? Are you sure? Or maybe you should stop being a drama queen.

Useful advice from both a language and life choice perspective. I will let you know when I'm ready for further input.
