MillersMad Matchthread - The Millers v Bristol City

Good afternoon everyone. I do hope you have plenty of sun cream as it's another hot one.

Now that the transfer window has closed and we've just had a fortnight for the players to get to know one and others games better we might just see a glimps of the way Stubbs wants us to play. I am hoping that even if Blackstock isn't playing I want Stubbs to play the system he believes is right for the players he's bought with a mix of the experienced players within that system. If that means playing Yates up front with Ward let it be. It'll give everyone another match to get used to it and when Blackstock is fit enough to take his place he may just have a fight on his hands to get in the team.

There I go again dreaming! Sorry chaps. Her in doors has gone for a 1 - 0 win with us scoring in the first half however don't get your hope up too high because she's only been right about one thing in her life and that's why we've been together for 28 years.

It is without doubt a tough game for us today. We need to get the ball and keep it and make them work their socks off chacing shadows.

Got myself all excited and confident now I'd better have a lay down.

    COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!

Greetings to Millersmadsters around the world from a damp drizzly NYS (it is still quite warm though). Unofficial team news is that Newell is fit enough to play, but doubts about the rest of our injured layers (Frecks, Adeyemi, Halford, Broadfoot)

    Afternoon all.

If there isn't changes in midfield it could be another long afternoon. Would like to see either Adeyemi, Frecks or Halford along side of Voulks.

    Come on you reds UTM

Morning Frog and all. Bloody 5.25am here and for some reason Im already wide awake...

Will be very interesting to see who AS fields today and whether we see more determination from this squad if Bristol City get the upper hand. I'm not optimistic but then I rarely am these days.

Right I may turn the light off now and try for a bit more kip, so keep the noise down!

Unusual defensive line-up with Halford and Newell in, although after number of goals conceded ...
Looks like 4-2-3-1, so I hope that we don't sit back too deep
    4-1-diamond-1?
Frecks, Broadfoot, Adeyemi, Allan, F-Caskey all not in starting eleven

    Hey up CT,
It really does mean that much doesn't it? When you know how important a win today is and you've been utterly peed off for two weeks. Don't be late

Always got a chance against any team managed by the tactically challenged dwarf , the clueless little git will set his team up to play the possession game getting absolutely no where .

Hit em hard and get stuck millers and send that little shyte away from the NYS with bugger all .
