    Barcelona v Celtic

Good to be playing against Europe's elite again. Would be nice to take something from the game apart from a lesson in how to play football, but I fear we are onto a doing. Barcelona are streets ahead of us and we saw on Saturday what happens when there is a gulf in class even when the better team isn't playing as well as it can.
If we get out of there having lost by less than three clear goals I won't be too disappointed

Hard to disagree with that, just hope the team can give a good account of themselves.

They won't be worried about us that's for sure.

Might work in our favour but clutching at straws to be honest..
I know how the huns must have felt before their execution - sorry, before we murdered them - fk, I mean before we buried them - dammit - difficult to find an acceptable metaphor that won't have them greetin'... anyway, you know what I mean.
Hoping against hope that Barca have a bit of an off day and that we play out of our skin and get a wee bit of luck. It is the hardest possible group and the only other hope (more straw clutching) is that there might be a couple of draws among the top teams leaving us to sneak in and nick a few points.
Realistically, anything more than zero points is a bonus and third spot does seem like a bridge too far... but ye never know yer Donald...

Not to worry, young Clint Hill is ready to step in since Sendheroff is now banned
