Poor old Dave complaining that someone once shouted ‘F*** off Allen’ at him.

I wonder if this was around the time he sued supporters for making 'defamatory allegations'? Or maybe it was around the time he sued a supporter who was in the middle of fighting throat caner? Or, just maybe, it was when he labeled SWFC supporters 'cretins', 'scum' and a 'venomous bitch'?

I think the feeling among most fans would be mutual ...the only thing Wednesday fans can be grateful to Dave Allen for is keeping Ken Bates out of the club, that would have been like jumping out of a frying pan into a raging volcano...he's still got money coming from the club too, so he's nowt to complain about.

Looking at how our club was under him and now with mr chansiri at the helm we are a very fortunate set of fans. Anyone remember listening to football heaven after his takeover at chezzie ?, loads of their fans calling saying he was the best thing since sliced bread and couldnt understand the animosity towards him from the owls fans. Well it looks like he's taking them down to league 2

I think there are plenty who also have regrets that he got involved with the club.
Not too proud or principled to move away from us completely as his company is one of the main digital advertisers inside the ground.
