With seven days to spare, the Chancellor of the Exchequer has pulled a rabbit out of the hat in his Autumn Statement by announcing a £7.6m Government grant towards urgent repairs to save Wentworth Woodhouse in Rotherham.

When I brought my French mates over a few years back the talk of 3 things.
The match, Wentworth village and the big house and The Masons. The only one they want to go back to mind is the Masons.
It's great news. well done The National Trust! Now that little project finished with could you have a look at the G&C building?
