    Is Jamie Johnson still here?

I notice that our head of recruitment is not listed on the staff list on the club's website.
Not done a Jackett and bottled it has he.

I really welcomed the appointment. In my opinion decent recruitment, especially of young players, is more likely to yield results than the academy.

I know (as always quoted) we are looking for long term benefits from Johnson's appontment but he did say, on 22 December, :

"The January transfer window is very much on the horizon, and whilst it is a very quick turnaround for me, we are aiming to come out of the other side in a stronger position,” he added.

“I will be working closely with Paul Warne, we have identified some targets for January and plans are well underway to try and bring some players in.

“Whilst we understand that January is very important, it is also ***** that we quickly implement a long term vision beyond the window to ensure that there is a structure which will benefit the club for years to come.”

Well - January is important and it's nearly over.
We have signed a keeper, probably on Mike Pollit's recommendation, rather than a result of the new system.

Expected a little bit more action tbh.
