If we have had to triple our bids then how poor were the originals?

How can we radically under-value 3 'targets'? Why waste everybody's time with derisory offers? The longer negotiations go on the more likely we'll miss out. I appreciate the need for value for money but hasn't past experience taught us anything. Put decent bids on the table at the outset if we really mean business. No doubt other clubs will be waiting and watching us do all the leg-work ready to step in and snatch them from under our noses at 10.45pm on Tuesday.

Yes we are an embarrassment with our derisory offers but it could have worked in our favour….say no one has shown any interest in a player we have and we say offer £150,000….that may be appealing to a club and they may well take it….

Now take a reality check and now we've 'ALLEGEDLY' gone back with a triple offer on all three players….now don't we look silly as it's clear as anything others are involved in the bidding and we've been asked to match them…..

LM…like you say why didn't we go in with realistic offers and stop showing ourselves up!

If we are to have a new manager next season, why are we spending big money on three new players if the new guy does not like the look of them & all the money's gone.T/S still thinks we will be safe or warney his our new manager next season.

Honestly believe that Stewart has asked Warne to manage the team for one season….no love lost between Stewart and Warne if he fails or…..it's all bull**** and there's no one coming in and we will appoint Stuart Gray close season…..

IF its the latter this board will go in to melt down….

It doesn`t work like that though does it.

Most clubs outside the Premiership offer as little as possible, agents then try to screw the clubs involved.
Eventually they will come to a compromise that`s somewhere in between. If it exceeds our budget or valuation then the player will sign elsewhere.
I don`t have a problem with that approach.

West Ham have just bid 3 times and upped it every time and finally got snodgrass.

They must be embarrassed it's truly ameturish way to do things according to the experts on here.
