That's it sorted then. Would have prefered a manager with a proven track record, but there again so does every club in the league.

Just been promoted to Reserve ! Things are looking up

Felt this would happen. His ego will get the better of him. Well, ya make ya own bed. Good luck Warney. I hope it works out but you would not be my choice as a manager going forward into the future.

The club need a manager in with a proven record, Warne does not fit the bill,he's totally out of experience to manage a club.
He ought to realise this & decline the hot seat at the NYS.

O'h great - Manager is / was fitness coach.....

New fitness coach is great - he only lives around the corner..........

I rang the club about what time the kick off was for Saturday.....they said:

"What time can you get here"

Sorry to say but if Warne takes the hot seat, with no experience the club could head for division 2.

That's what worries me. Hence the need for an experienced "old head" as a No 2 or advisor. Sorry but none of his existing team fit that bill.

To be honest, I am not overly concerned about PW as manager. IF we can turn things around as a club that is what matters - PW may just succeed at it. Key thing is - and it has started - we get the basics in place to build more solid foundations in the longer run

Paul Warne will get my 100% backing IF he chooses to take the job on.
