Guest&Chrimes:How long does it take to make a decision!!!!

It's well over five years since we were told that this dilapidated wreck, would be offered to anyone, who showed an interest in developing this "building",Nobody has come forward. It is time, that this eyesore was demolished. The chairman should be giving urgent attention to this problem. Not only does it look a disgrace but is becoming a safety hazard.Once this has been demolished,we can move forward as a club. The units that remain empty could then be utilised and revenue could start flowing in.We surely cannot afford to turn away potential business that this would create. However until the chairman shows some desire to go forward with this, we will not go anywhere but downhill.Surely TS knows we cannot have another year where nothing is done about this. It's ludicrous.Speculate to accumulate. This was the original plan Tony.

Can, at least some of it, be redeveloped as an indoor training faciility? Has RUFC put forward any plans in that regard? I'm not sure how just demolishing G & C actaually leads anywhere (other than extra car-parking space?)

The thing is, once it's gone it's gone forever so 5 years waiting to see if it can be saved is nowt in the big scheme of things. Has owt happened on the former site of Donny Gate Hospital yet?

Unable to do a deal with HERITAGE is why it's dragged on.

Save the front of the building & demolish the rest. Proposal was for a hotel which would bring much needed revenue into the club. Not going to happen anytime soon though...is it ?
It's an eyesore and would cost millions to start sorting it out.

Seriously what is up with them, it's an eyesore, who comes to look at it? Rats?

No Mike it wouldn't be a car park but much needed revenue, hotel was in the plans wasn't it? Or something similar.

Edit, just seen your post Casper which seems I've repeated some of it

An insider at the club told me that 50 companies had all put applications in to buy it, but TS decided it would be best to keep it as it is and let the rot set in further.

Does anyone seriously believe there are plans to develop the Guest & Chrimes site?
