Derby County alongside AZ Alkmaar and RC Genk, are chasing NEC defender Dario Dumic.

The 25-year-old is currently contracted at the Dutch side NEC until 2019, but it is being said by the club that they won't be able to afford his salary.

What do we know about Dario Dumic:

Well he is a Bosnian international, has drawn multiple interests from the Premier League, the Championship and Belgium.

He has already indicated that he dreams of a move to England that will see him play more of a pivotal role then the last time he was here, contracted to Norwich City and with the Rams looking in the market for a defender, Pride Park Stadium could be his ideal destination.

He has currently worked in England before with Norwich City between 2009-10, but that spell didn't get him working for the first team and therefore he decided to take his chances with Brondby.

He then went on to make 92 appearances in six years for the Danish side Brondby before making his move to his current club NEC last year where he scored five goals in 50 appearances and currently has one cap for his home nation.
