    For the woods doubters

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiZs8oOzxNU&sns=em

For all out there who seem to be shooting this lad down before he's even had a chance have a little watch .

I understand the similarity thing to Vokes but I feel he might be a bit more like Austin was than Vokes.

I hope so anyway , let's get behind him anyway in the meantime.

I'm a doubter Army, as he's scored some good goals like the one you have linked, missed a few also like a lot of players, I think he needs feeding with some magical creativity just like Vokes, which is something we don't have enough of, a more busy player (like Ings) is something I feel we need more, I'm also willing to give the lad a chance but for £16 Million to me its a big gamble, and I do hope it comes off.

I'm with you Alto , I just think he can score goals - no disrespect to Leeds but he scored a lot of goals in an average team.

I'd also like a wide tricky man or who can play in the hole behind woods or Vokes tbh.

Said before to you Markovic from Liverpool would be my pick -- I'm sorry for Danny but I think he's crocked and won't reach the heights again.

I think we will sign another before we've done and a centre back ( I hope ) so fingers crossed , I thought both wide men were poor Saturday against a very immobile back line of Albion they should have been beating full backs and delivering ball onto a on rushing Vokes, it's early days I think we could shock a few yet --- I also have a sneaky feeling woods will be good for us when Dyche finds a way to accommodate him into a system.

If Wood had played alongside Vokes on Saturday I am certain we would have beat West Brom.

If you can watch the match again, and then insert Wood for Hendrick.

    Boom, boom - two goals.

I wouldn't mind Wood for Hendrick but fear it could be Defour that is sacrificed.

I think Defour and Dyche have got their mojos working again.

I thought Defour was terrific on Saturday alongside Cork, their ball retention was first class.

We just need to start hitting the back of the old onion bag, but I suppose that's why we have just chucked the thick end of £20 million on a proven striker.

his Premier League record is in doubt- remember, he has yet to start a PL game for any of his previous teams. Gray scored a shed load in the second division but could not hit double figures in the Prem. If we play Vokes and Woods starting together we will have twin strikers looking for someone else to feed. We are looking at another one as well when really we need a quality CB.......
