    I could never get into them Alf but that doesn't mean that they wasn't any good,Bowie was a massive fan of them before they became famous and gave them All The Dudes to stop them from splitting up,and if you and Bowie like them Alf then its me that's got it wrong

    Even when they reached their (short) peak in the early-mid seventies the singer Ian Hunter was already into his thirties.

    He is older than the likes of Daltrey, McCartney, Jagger, all of which had worldwide fame a decade earlier.

    But yeah, half decent pop rock.

    Im not into my 70s yet Alf so Ive no idea who Mott the hoople are/were.
