Tough going today, first half especially sounded dismal.

But that concludes a week we'd have gleefully taken seven days ago.

Ross County a big one next Saturday given we're away to Aberdeen before Celtic x 3.

We can have no complaints after that, the better team deservedly won. Yet again we persisted with this 'punt and rush' style of football which made a mockery of the decision to start Frear instead of Tait. In today's conditions we needed the ball on the deck and we just didn't do it whilst Hibs did.

Bad, bad mistake from Kipre for the goal but I actually thought that he recovered well and had a decent game afterwards.

A bad day at the office today but it's not been a bad week. Into a Cup Final and two wins out of three - I would have tore your arm off and ripped the lid clean off with it had you offered me that scenario this time last week.

The 'snap' just wasn't there today - we were just a bit of the pace, and that's all we need to be for our system to fall short. The defending for the goal was calamitous, but credit to Cedric - who is still a young and inexperienced player - for keeping his head up and getting on with it. We could have got a draw; this time, we didnae.

his assessment is spot on. What baffles me is how professional Footballers cant work out if the ball is in the air all the time you cannot control the direction of the game because 9 times outta team you just give possession away. Very frustrating when you have players who can play. Only when Bigi came on did we get it down and start to look a bit like a team but all too little too late. Hibs fully worth their win but the most annoying part is as bad as we played we could have taken a point had we not given away an utterly comical goal outta nothing.

However we move on and hopefully the penny will drop the high ball ALL the time is just asking to be beaten.

We didn't deserve anything yesterday but I did expect a flat performance after a hectic week of 3 games in 6 days. The team looked tired and jaded which isn't surprising. Still 2 wins out of 3 and a final place is good going. Hibs battled and fought better than we did and thats why they won and we didn't.

We were poor but have had a mentally taxing week. Bad mistake for the goal but Cedric is a young player and that will happen. We will pick ourselves up next week and hopefully get back to our best. Been a helluva week though.
