Christie scores but in his own net so it’s 1-1 and Denmark will go though if it stays like this.

Eriksen gets another so it’s looking grim 1-2 with Ireland needing two.

A shocker by Stephen Ward as he fluffs his first touch as he attempts to deal with a ball into the box. Ward is off balance and by the time he can recover the excellent Christian Eriksen is on it in a flash to thunder a rocket of a shot into the net.

    1-4

    It’s over!

I was genuinely surprised at how much room Eriksen was given and boy did they pay the price?

I was really surprised that Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane got it so wrong. No shame in losing to a good Danish side well led by Eriksen but the Irish were totally embarrassed. The pundits on Sky were very critical of the Irish tactics and it was so obvious to anybody watching. No wonder the ground was half empty by the end.Be interesting to see what happens now.
