Only 59 years of age. One of the best of his generation. Big strong physical player, the type of forward we could do with now.
RIP Sir

Only 59. Had he been ill?
Saddened to hear this
RIP.
As well as being a top class player in his day, wasn't he more recently involved in trying to get the Arthur Wharton statue built outside NYS?
The shyte him and his fellow black footballers took was incredible. He will never be forgotten by football fans RIP Cyril.
Was reported earlier that he had an heart attack
Condolences to family and friends
RIP Cyrille
A good player in his time.
Sincere condolences to his family.
Sad news . I was at the match where he made his WBA first team debut - against the Millers in League cup game at the Hawthorns.
WBA won 4-0, with Regis scoring twice. He looked a good player even then, and a big strong lad. A good professional off the pitch and a campaigner against racism too. Held in high esteem by many of his fellow players, black and white.
RIP

He was a great player to watch in the 70s/80s but by all accounts an even greater man who was at the forefront of breaking down racial barriers/abuse.
Gone far too soon. RIP.
Yep great ambassador for the sport. RIP Cyril. I was at that match too.He just demolished us single handedly really.
