    Our former owner sadly passed away this morning after losing his battle with cancer .

    Very sad news indeed .

    Yes he put Barnsley back on the map so to speak.

    His youth academy set up delivered some gems that went on to bigger teams for big profits.

    God bless you Sir and may you now be at rest.

    Condolences to all his family at this troubled time.

    Anyone who loves the sport has to admire what Mr Cryne did for Barnsley FC. Respect.
