    Rowett tactics

Please can we try something different for a change

    a little more attacking, maybe 4 -1 - 4- 1

The tactic we employ gives us a massive hole in the middle when Huddlestone and Ledley or who ever we play drop onto the back four

Surely a professional manager can see this. I'll tell you for sure it will do for him if he dosen't try something new with more of a attacking feel.

I would put up with a poor run, if we were showing some intent

    tonight was painful

His tactics aren't great at the moment must admit. Palmer has been the only real positive for me recently, looks a handful, yet is being isolated because of the defensive tactics. but these players have mentally gone, there's not much you can do once that happens, we look like we're on the beach already and we're 5th at the start of MARCH ffs. but the fuse was lit with the performance V Norwich, that was the end right there. Sheff Weds exploded the ticking time bomb, and I'm still in shock we managed to perform the way we did v that lot, between them, reading and QPR and probably even leeds, that has to be the most pathetic points total against those 4 (3 points) for a promotion chasing side.

Fair call and agree that Palmer looks a cut above.

Not sure the ‘fuse was lit’ against Norwich. I think we’ve taken thir**** points from the 33 available in 2018. The four we threw away against Leeds and Reading would make a huge difference table wise. We rode our luck between September and Christmas and were in a better position than most of us ever imagined. Facts seems to be though...we simply aren’t good enough...we’ve been found out since the turn of the year and it may well be a blessing not to fluke our way up this year. Much as I like and respect GR there seems to have been some very muddled thinking since January and the clear out of alleged ‘disruptive influences’ appears to have achieved very little.

No we can't blame Martin Russell and the rest for this, because most of them have gone, its something wrong within the club as a whole. Cardiff aren't exactly brimming with superstars are they? a hard working team with a manager Rowett strives to be tactically, yet one is falling apart every season now (despite having significant money spent on it), and the other is full of hard working players but nothing special, yet is pushing clear of the rest from 4th downwards.

"we ain't ready" sorry that doesn't wash, we were 2nd and had a big opportunity, with a 8m pound striker, and a load of midfielders that cost a bomb as well.

Lawrence is underperforming he is nowhere near worth £7m and he hasn’t shown his form he had at Ipswich which was the reason we went in for him in the first place, we got robbed big time by Leicester City and we have become scapegoats once again to take the bait and hype around players who might look good on paper but they aren’t and don’t fit into our system at all.

How about picking a settled front line? Vydra and Nugent were really clicking, with Winnall coming on as relief.

Winnall will have to settle for hand relief as he won't be kicking another ball this season.

Lawrence needs a spell on the bench, not doing the business and doesn't look up for the fight.

Johnson doesn't give us anything either.

Weimann has won a place and deserves to keep it.

Drop Fozzie and stick Anya in as an attacking full back with Wisdom on opposite side. Or play Anya on the wing.

If Vydra is fit he should play, he's joint top scorer in the division. Palmer looks as though he can play anywhere in midfield or in attack.

Rowett needs to be bold in his selection on Sunday.

Agree with all that, never understood what’s going on with Anya...he’s a footballer.
