    Middlesbrough - why?

Why are Middlesbrough playing decent attacking football and look good for the play offs? Love him or hate him, Pulis seems to be doing a decent job at Boro and supporters like him.

What a complete embarrassment for the shambles of our club if the three to go up are Dingles, Vile and Middlesbrough and certainly would not bet against it!

Than again - Pardew still believes

Wolves thrashed today like us 4-1, can see them missing out. Cardiff, villa and Fulham on a good run.

It was pretty much the same at West Brom...as sure as God made little green apples he will revert to type.

Spot on. That first half season he was in charge I was amazed how good we were attacking wise. I thought I'd misjudged the bloke. Then he settled in........

I hope the owner has a plan for next season, if not we can easily go into free fall.

Someone has certainly got to be ahead of the game or your fears will happen...

At the moment hlc he is one of the bigger fishes in a slightly smaller pond...the proof will come if and when they get promotion.

But good luck to Middlesbrough I like them and their owner.

If they do go up, the 40 point mentality will return, and he will fill the team with defenders and holding midfielders, he has to protect his "never been relegated" status.

That millstone will get heavier each season, however, I think he had a long enough run of bad results a baggies to be relegated, just didn't run all in one season.
