    And another who probably regretted leaving? I actually saw him play about three or four years ago for Seattle - even then looked much slower than I remembered? - and was also struck by how little he was earning for his efforts; MLS teams had/have a salary-cap and the salaries of all players are published, TM was earning about £140k a YEAR. We discussed at the time that despite our low pay-rates if instead of following OC to Bolton he'd signed a long term contract at Burnley, he'd have be earning way more.

    You couldn't really blame him for moving to Bolton, and he wasn't to know that he was going to break his leg within a few days of signing for them. Probably wrecked his career, he was never the same player afterwards.

    A bit naughty I know, but I have to admit to having a little giggle when he injured himself at Bolton.
