Looking Forward To Going To Grimsby

Never thought I would hear myself say that. Yeah, I know the ground isn't actually in Grimsby ( even their own fans don't want to go there ). Got all the ingredients this one and the Notts massive ( me and my lad ) will be there . Gone are the days of listening to a tranny , who's scored ? have so or so equalised ? Oh the drama , these are the games we all love ! Can't wait and I think and hope Notts will sell their entire allocation. Seems like a bad dream now the Barnet game . I was in total despair and even thought about crossing the river!! To the Wetherspoons ! Fcuk me, things could never get that bad. Come on Notts ,lets take it till the last day!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps. Quite a long post for me and seeing as I still don't have a grammar checker or dyslexia ( might explain a lot though ) , help me out snobbers.

Grimsby is a ground I've never been to. There was a time when I'd done about 80% of league grounds but I've lost loads due to rebuilds.

I was a good boxer so never saw a ship...........mate. Only joking . I remember working on the Bulwark when I was FMG at Nelson , must have been around 1980, what a rust bucket.

Getting back to the game at Cleethorpes , never change a winning team but I would make 4 , if all are fit.
    Tootle for Hunt
    Grant for Lewis
    Stead for Shola
    Anyone for Noble

So Noble is the latest in line for the scapegoat/ whipping boy job this season, they seem to change every 10 games so he should be the last unless we pick another for the Play Offs. If we are holding a Scapegoat of the season it should be close but my vote would go to Smith because he has even taken stick for sitting on the bench.

Sorry if you think I'm making Noble a" scapegoat " mate . The boss and a far better pundit than me, my lad, as not been impressed at all by him. I will have a word .

Sorry navypie, but i wouldnt change Shola for Stead. Shola is the ideal partner for For Forte, that is the reason the results have picked up recently.. Grimsby are a physical side and if Stead were to play he would spend most of the time on his ar*e

I agree with the other changes though..
