    We go again

not quite enough eh? never looked like happening tonight really, it needed the defence to be perfect and they came damned close, but Fulham improved so much from Friday it was a step too far.

anything that doesnt result in promotion has to be a failure, but it was a glorious failure when looking back only three or four weeks.

Roll on August, and lets prepare ourselves for the Forest cotingent to come out of the woodwork of that shed they live in

    COYR!

Oh behave Andy, we've let you off light.
I don't think you've any complaints. They was far to good over both legs.
As much as I enjoyed it, the QPR win was a much bigger injustice.
At least this time the best team won and the one in 3rd place over the season. I hope they go up, they deserve it.

Let us off light? How can you have done that when we’ve done better than you in every aspect of the game this season...again!

Any complaints? Absolutely none...who’s complaining? The better side won over the two legs...end of...no time for anyone aged over ten crying at the end tbh...it’s football, that’s all...but at least we gave it a bloody good go.
Agree about your last comment...like to see them go up.

Promotion wasn't lost tonight it was lost 2 months ago, Friday was a salvage night and tonight was damage limitation, they were clearly the better side, the bookie's knew it and we knew it but yes it was a bridge too far, better to fail trying than to be nottinem forest

Hang on Stenson, you wasn't saying that when it was BD trying to get us up and Nigel had you playing "cough", stable football.

Its sad but yet again we're found wanting once the pressure is on

And I hope that's the last time we Keogh in a Derby shirt as well, sorry but if he's still here next season I'll f****** cry, both goals came from his mistakes yet again, pressure isn't something Keogh is good at is it?!!?!

Morris for once gets my sympathy

But.... With a few good signings over the summer, and with some of the deadwood moved on I could see us challenging top 6 again quite easily, we seem to almost have a style Rowett is fixed on, and with the right balance it could work, we saw glimpses of it at PP on Friday but we don't quite have the right sort of wingers at this moment in time, Weimann a big culprit in this.

said all week don't defend deep. We did. We lost. Congrats Fulham you deserved it.

Wisdom should have gone with Sessegnon for their first. 2nd was a free header from Odoi.

Defending deep, not pressing in MF was always going to fail. Wrong tactics IMO.

One thing is certain, we have to get things sorted so that we attack more next season and don't let the oppo attack at will by giving them the midfield without a fight.

Never going to win through these play offs using a defensive tactic!, Derby held strong but in terms of playing football they were battered in both games, whether the Manager was hoping on a counter attack goal was risky in 1 game let alone 2, unlucky.

Of course Stenson, under Clough you was amazing. Looked forward to your tinnies and pop corn.

Never mind, one more to go for the score card.
