Just been listening to Chesterfield chairman Dave Allen on Radio DeeDah - sounds like Boothy Mark II. or possibly even worse. We had a lucky escape, because he was interested in buying the Millers a few years back, according to rumours
.. .and the werewolves ate him and drank his whisky too (allegedly).
I can hardly believe it myself, but I'm already feeling sorry for "Mad Dog". No wonder that Wednesday made little progress when Dave Allen was chaiman at the Sty.

Apparently, according to today's radio interview, Chesterfield's FC's problems are due to the other directors' decisions, which he played very little part in, even though he is the self-proclaimed richest man involved in the club.
