Do you think Mr Lai realizes he paid over the odds for the club and is now trying to recoup some of the money.

    Good point.
I do feel sorry for Big Dave. He has hardly any experience dealing with the media. Yet he has to try and put positive spin on this. The " have to be fit to compete in the MLS" really is pushing it though.

The board said Gmac was to old then sign a 35 year old are we not better than this, why doesn't Moore or Jenkins tell us the truth that there's no money available the chinaman doesn't want to put money in only take it out for God's sake we've just come down from the premier.WHERES THE MONEY

The difference is GMac was probably on £70k a week.

And how much is promotion worth compared to around 50K a week which is most likely a truer figure? It's OK to play Barry then in the reserves who makes Brunt even look fast on a huge salary!

I don't feel sorry for Big Dave, as someone needs to deliver the results for immediate promotion otherwise who takes the wrap - Big Dave, Jenkins, the Chinky or Baggie Bird? Don't get me wrong, I love Big Dave but no sentiment in a results driven business and why can't he see - Chris Brunt is no CM player when the whole ground can see it?

Again a club with NO AMBITION and that's what shows - past - present and future!
