Bannan's was a great volley. I thought Dembele's was at least partly down to poor defending. I was in two minds about Frecklington's but having heard him say that as the ball came back to him he made a split-second decision to sidefoot rather than volley it's a very impressive goal.

millertop, the lack of responses to this and other football posts on this page compared to the masses of interest in OT threads should surely give you pause for thought in your desire to get rid of OT? I confess to being surprised that apart from you and me no Madster has anything to say on the quality of these goals.

The goals all look identical to me. "This content is not available in your area". Sadly the BBC and Sky content is not usually available outside the UK unless you are prepared to jump through some IP Proxy hoops. That might be one reason some football related posts with video content don't get as many comments.

I'm sure you're right, Cam. I don't think millertop provided a video here and if he did it didn't work and I had to search them out.
I'm disappointed with the lad. I thought after the recent minor spat on OT that I would seek to mend bridges by commenting on his thread. My second post was not a wind up but a genuine observation of surprise that more people hadn't commented and a mild suggestion to millertop that his dislike of OT was a bit misplaced. he then comes back with a very nasty response accusing me of agendas and being sad. You really can't win on here sometimes.

I honestly don't know what you mean by this. What keep popping up and what point do you think I'm trying to prove?
As for you claiming not to have said "get rid" you're being disingenuous; you posted that OT's were stopping your enjoyment of football posts on MM so getting rid seemed your logical intention.

Let's not argue. I NEVER said that you "said" get rid. I posted that it was "your desire" which I determined as a logical consequence of some of your comments on the subject. If it was not your desire then I am happy to withdraw the observation.
