    Dyche City Post Match.

Say what you like about the guys football approach, but he's a really good listen.. Explains his side of things really well, that football layman's like myself can understand.. No complicated gobbledegook.. Cracking fella.

    That's from a Rovers fan.

I have to agree with you Saxo. He was not happy today and he said why and it was all straight forward. We did not expect to win against City, however, a few things going against us made it an extremely difficult game. He knows the problems and he will work to sort things out, as he always has done, the problem is ---will the fans stay onside and support him?

Good win for Rovers today and I see your other team turned Huddersfield over too.

Cheers re Rovers.. To be honest, if Liverpool won the league, it'd mean little to me really.. Nowhere near as much as Rovers promotion last season.

I would love to believe that he will work it out Supersub6 but if it is a problem of personnel he can do nothing until the Jan transfer window.

Of course, we had the very long pre-season transfer window and little was done except get an injured player in--so form doesn't support your upbeat.

If its NOT personnel why isn't it already sorted?

It is his job to sort it out, he is the manager. He will sort things out with the personnel he has available because he does not dwell on what he does not have. Whether it means we stay up or are relegated I am unable to say, however, I know that he will work hard to improve things because that is his nature.

As far as my being upbeat ---I am always upbeat about everything ---much to the annoyance of my friends. If we get relegated then we will play in the Championship which is not the end of the world ---it is only a game of football.

It's a press conference, an opportunity for journalists to ask him questions, he doesn't choose the questions, and he answered the questions he was asked openly and honestly, and he did talk about our performance where it was relevant to the question. Not sure what you were expecting.

I couldn't absolutely say that the questions were 0r weren't taylored to suit.....and also - dont absolutely know whether or not they were answered - completely , openly and honestly....it just has to seem that they were I guess - but I couldn't say for certain that they were.

As for what I was expected....as i said - "pity he had so little to say about his own teams performance..... ."
