At Half Time in the Championship.

    I'm satisfied.

3rd in the League and more goals scored than anyone else in England.

I thought Moore might be gone by November. Anyone who called him thick or was convinced we were about to do 'a Sunderland' happy to also admit they were wrong?

I really thought we needed a more experienced manager but I liked Darren Moore. Glad I was proved wrong. The guy breathes the baggies and it shows on the pitch.

Never called him thick but must admit that I thought he was out of is depth when we went through the bad patch. but must give credit where it's due seems he is learning from mistakes and after all he is new to the management game

Are you really suggesting we change managers NOW ffs.

    Who do you suggest?

    Guardiola he's struggling
    Mourinho he needs a job
Pulis. He'll soon need a jop and will set the pulse racing!

    Ok so far.

The problem for me is that with Transfer windows effectively you get chance to change your players twice a year and therefore it is more like full time now rather than half time. The second half of the season can, and will be played, by different squads for some sides.

Our recruitment just hasn’t been good enough recently and was one of the main factors why we, Swansea and Stoke went down last year. Recruitment is key each year. Newcastle, Burnley, Huddersfield, Southampton are all struggling this year because they haven’t recruited well and are mirroring what happened to us 3 last year.

The Championship is little different. If we want to kick on them we need to improve the squad now because others will I am sure. Ultimately this is what will definite the rest of the season and such a pity we seem to be crap at it.

So far so good. However its still in the back of my mind that it could have been so much better. Still 52 goals compared to Boro's 24. That will teach me to 'be careful what I wish for" won't it lol?
