I think this might be the one where things go our way, if the injury/illness toll isn't too high.
I have lots of friends in Ipswich. The ones I've been in contact with over the last few days reckon they used up all their luck against Rotherham, who apparently played them off the park.
They tell me Rotherham had 18 attempts at goal, to Ipswich's three.
I'm going 3-0 to Rovers, but it will probably turn on us getting an early goal, because I don't think they'll be playing an attacking game!
I hope you are right about the scoreline
Players who will feature on Saturday looked dead on their feet last night and of course the returning judge, all factor in the possibility of a poor result.
2 - 0. (After 90+ mins) 😏
Fair points, Robin, but at least a Tuesday game provides an extra recovery day.
I thought the midfield-mix with Bennett, Reed, Smallwood and Travis looked really good, and we have Evans as back-up.
There is so much energy in that group.
A lot depends on how many are back after the bug and the injury-niggles.
3-1 Rovers..
That’s covered for in the ‘+ mins’ Aucks. 😉
Edit: just read (differently) your intimation there an realise, in this early hour that a paltry two only goals may not be sufficient to cover the ‘plethora’ of goals regularly conceded (and scored 😊 ) in those frantic final minutes. 🤔
Even so, I’ll stick with my super optimistic score line . I’m sure it will please Champs 😏

The thing is, Despair, we have probably got over the late-goal thing now, anyway. And, of course, it's not just us. Statistically, most goals ARE scored in the final quarter. I read somewhere that a bizarre proportion of the total goals in Norwich games this season came in that period.
2-1 Rovers
