Best description of Burke I've heard in ages!

Blochairnboy : For a pro footballer his first touch is shocking like a hippo trying to control a ping pong ball!

On a couple of occasions he managed to get round the fullback and cross the ball from the safe position of the by-line, it was not his fault the crosses were not converted, nor were those moves ever replicated for the simple reasons the management was too naive or just simply not good enough. It's simple you get a good thing happening and you do it over and over again.

When you do that you have a decent player on the books.

    “he was shaking like a s h I t t I n g dog”

I think the fact that none of the managers fancied him speaks volumes. He's playing against the equivalent of league 1 opposition most weeks with Celtic and the fans are already working him out. Runs like a train....but this is football not a track event.

    Tell that to Raheem Sterling...

You have to understand that you don't buy players just for the sake of buying a player, maybe they are of the same ilk that baggies managers have been through recent times, it's not just Burke they have had sat on the bench we have had internationals sat there scratching their knackers every game.

If you think Celtic are league 1 you are on a par with Dodgy Darren.....

Goodlordmurphy! I never said Celtic were league 1.....but who they play against certainly are. Its easy to win a league and score pots of goals with your Gran as center forward if you are playing against poor teams. What Raheem Sterling has to do with it? I just don't know....you can't be suggesting that Burke is in his league? surely?

Burke is a dog s hit level of player and I can only hope that the Rodgers buys him now he can afford more then £10 at Leicester.
