    Coventry City Match Thread

Sold 1500 tickets so far apparently so we could break 14k on saturday .

Davies back in goal and possibly Fryers coming in at left back for young Williams would appear to be the only changes from last saturday .

You could make a case for Brown to move up alongside Woodrow I guess but I reckon Stendel will stick with the one up top formation .

A massive improvement in performance needed , I suspect Coventry won't come to park the bus as they need the 3 points just as much as ourselves .

    Thoughts guys .

I now live in Coventry. My Mrs lads have gone up for match. Unfortunately I have to look after her now so can't get up for the game. Cov are a bogey team for hus. Can see a draw today.

Yeah it will be a tricky game. Team selection is key for me. I'd be inclined to pick players that will get at them. I'd bring in Styles because he always wants the ball and to be in the action. I don't think a physical Mark Robins team will be Bahre's cup of tea and I'd have a word in Brown's ear if I was Stendel and ask him not to go diving in.

If we start slow we'll get beat. Coventry are better than Walsall.

    Davies

    Cavare, Lindsay, Pinnock, Fryers

    Styles, McGeehan, Mowatt

    Green, Woodrow, Brown

Fryers in for Williams, Hedges ( welsh International ) for Bahre , that leaves Fryers to concentrate on his defending , Hedges to get some good crosses in and giving us more width up front, ,
Exile , mite be a good idea to have a week in Lake District !!!

Aye you could definitely make a case for Hedges to come in for Thiam or Bahre .

Had a decent game by all accounts for Wales last saturday .

Thiam has been gash last few games and I'm one of his fans. That bit of weight he's lost isn't doesn't him any favours. All his corners v Walsall didn't beat first man.

Dunt thee be evvin a go at Thiam. The finest sculptured arse in the Third Division at present bar none. Name me wun better (Cavare excepted). Jason Scotland worrup theear but he used it better to fend off defenders.

Coventry are better than Warsaw Ponte, but it was the pace of their wingers that was undoing us they were light lightening and if they could have finished we would have lost that game easily!
Coventry don’t attack with speed, they are a typical Robins side who will try to bore everyone to death and sit back, try to frustrate and nick the odd goal.
As long as Warsaw was the kick up the rear we needed we should have enough to beat these?
