    Anne Widdecombe

I think that she summed up the Brexit situation superbly.

    a) We've got the worst Prime Minister since Anthony Eden.
    b) We've got the worst Leader of the Opposition in the history of British Politics.
    c) We've got the worst Parliament since Oliver Cromwell.

Doesn't give us much of a chance does it!!

Marginally agree with A, although our worst prime minister in recent times was Cameron for the referendum which was flawed anyway.

    Agree with B.

In terms of C, I actually have a bit of sympathy with some MPs. Without a clear mandate, which they don't have, its hard for them to reach a clear consensus. Which is why it should be put back to the people in another referendum.

! was not happy with the West Brom result against M'boro. It was not the result I wanted. I think we should play the game again.

Leave won fair and square, no doubt about it. Both sides told lies but mainly the leave side with that brexit bus slogan - funny how this £350m has never been mentioned since then.
Racism by the right wing was used to influence people’s votes. Lies lies lies. Is this how we want our so called democracy to be though? Judging by the number of right wing racist posters on here they all took that bait and voted leave.. ever since that vote, you hear them harp on about it was nothing to do with immigration, race blah blah - in complete denial. It is the middles aged 50+ who have so many life regrets and want change.
When we leave, it is no doubt these racists will say to the immigrants or anybody of an ethnic minority - look we voted for you to leave, now get out!

Honestly, I wouldn't bother if I were you Regis.

The vast majority of the 50+ age groups have had 20+ years of media indoctrination and they will never change their outlook on the EU. Regardless of whether it impoverishes them or the next generation.

The ironic thing is that Leave voters have voted to 'take back control' and what we currently have is exactly that, our parliament is fully in charge - this is literally what they voted for.

It will always be someone else's fault, probably something along the lines of Remainers not 'believing' in Brexit enough or not showing enough 'backbone'. When in reality, the people to blame here are the Leave supporting politicians who sold voters a dream that was impossible to realise.

'We can take our cake and eat it'
'It will be the easiest deal to negotiate in history'
'They need us more than we need them'

I really could go on and on...

The only end to this madness will be another vote.

My prediction however is we will leave without a deal, and anyone reading this only has to look at the Govt Dept for Exiting the EU forecasts to see how that will go down. The West Midlands region is expected to be the 2nd worst affected place in the UK, which truly saddens me because I grew up there and still have a lot of family and friends who will be affected.

You seem to believe all the Govt hype and gloom and doom about leaving yet rubbish any fears leavers have about remaining in the EU. There won't be any disaster in leaving just like the world did not end with all the worlds computers were supposed to crash etc at the turn of the Milennium. You insult the intelligence of people over the age of 50 when we find ourselves living in a world of transgender, non binary, there are more than two genders, students need a safe space to go to bulls*h*t emanating from anyone born after 2000. I did not vote leave because I am racist, I voted leave to get us away from the incompetent, self-serving imbeciles that have too much influence on what we can and cannot do.

I’ve openly said on here that immigration was a big factor in my “leave” decision but that doesn’t make me a racist.

I want controlled immigration not wholesale dumping of people like happened 1/4 of a mile from where I have lived most of my life.

    Where do you live?

Maybe you’re not impacted by such things as some others?
