We were subdued (the fans) today. But a great performance !

Unsurprisingly, I felt the crowd were somewhat quieter than usual today. Even post scoring no sign of any boinging around me. Indeed, I also felt reluctant to go overboard.
Typical Albion to reward us with 4 goals following a poor couple of previous performances!
The 3-5-2 worked. Even the weak and precarious link in Bartley managed an average effort. Indeed he won some decent headers.
Gayle was great and looked dangerous with JRod abley assisting.
Hegasi was solid and back to his better self. Gibbo impressed and Holgate was an improvement on last outings.
Brunt surprised me and, whilst disappeared for periods, looked comfortable on the ball. A stunning long ball magnificently converted by Gayle for No 1.
Johansen started poorly but put in one of his better efforts.
    So...maybe we’re on a run...

Prando I have to agree with you.
I dont recall any boing boinging for any of our 4 goals.
The lords my shepherd was voiced albeit a little quieter than normal.
SME sang a lot of the time though there were some quiet moments where the opposition sang 'is this a library'
A few empty seats around the stadium but nothing too dramatic.
A good result though it would have been nice to have kept a clean sheet.
At least them scoring a goal game them the chance to throw their bowlers in the air.

Using the 3-5-2 might explain why he used the expeienced players and rested the younger ones, but what a ball by Brunty, a real magician with that left boot.
Perhaps he might get the starring role if they ever do a remake of the film 'My Left Foot'...

I would imagine it i only because the automatic place, whilst an outside chance two games ago,is well and truly believed to be gone now....
A realization moment. Play offs look certain with most likely opponents been Villa....
I suspect the realization at the beginning of the season was for automatic promotion...and was still on up till the Sheffield defeat at home...
But was always expecting an exciting end to this season....

The play-offs were inevitable...AND...it was always going to be the Vile in the semi or final.
I’m comfortable with that. We’re a better and more experienced side. No worries...trust me.
PS...I won Phild’s prediction once...(there was only me and him in it then)
