    Danny Cowley & brother

    Five promotions in ten years.

Apprenticeship done with great results at Concord Rangers and Braintree Town and then Lincoln City.

Great cup runs at Concord and Lincoln City and also at least two play off seasons in the years he didn’t get teams promotion.

Lincoln now in League one, gates increasing from around 1500 to over 9000 in his three seasons in charge.

This guy has a resume like “Big Ron” had in the 70’s.

Something tells me this guy is the real deal,I’d rather be giving someone like him a chance than other names being mentioned.

Impressive when interviewed on TV and strikes me as someone with the poise and steel needed.

Yes it is and he comes from Oxford. Installs a lot of drive into his team.

It takes a lot of bottle for clubs to appoint a manager from the lower leagues. It was something quite common back in the day but so much money at stake these days that they have mostly become risk averse to the idea. Personally id defo take a punt over the likes of Fireman Sam and dopey Moyes or that classical music bloke

We are ok then Phil because with West Brom there is never that much money at stake.

We have placed ourselves in a really difficult situation. It isn't the sacking of Moore but the fact that we had nobody lined up to replace him. To be honest, I don't see an obvious candidate for the post and the only option appears to be to keep Shan until the end of the season. With only four games to go and in all probability a play-off place, I don't see the advantage of a new man taking over. It is what it is and I feel that we have to accept this and go with it.
